What Went On
October 22nd - annA rydeR plus John Buckley
  Anna Ryder entertained the crowd
at what must have been her most
local gig ever. There were a range of
her quirky, individual songs with a
number of instruments: accordion
(left), trumpet (sometimes together),
keyboard and guitar. We heard one
of the songs Fairport Convention
recorded “Bring Me Back My
Feathers”, a new one called “Susie”
and a very old one about a Hoover!
  Anna’s encore was a
never-seen-before spectacle
of the standard “Somewhere
Over The Rainbow” played on
yes, your eyes don’t deceive you,
a bicycle pump...
